Monitoring

The premise behind monitoring is that what is not monitored cannot be measured and what is not measured cannot be managed. One of the defender's dilemma is that the defender has the role of playng vigilante all the time while the attacker has the advantage of attacker at will anytime. This is where continuous monitoring can be helpful.
